In-Service Training
Staff training is available for education, social services, health and other professional personnel either as one-off individual topics or as part of a planned series for staff development. Group sizes may be very small - i.e. under 10 - or comprise conferences of several hundred people. Subjects for training are by agreement following a preliminary discussion. A typical range of examples would include Stress, Time Management, Counselling, and Team Building. Within the educational context, teacher training might include Curriculum Development, Policy Writing, Support of newly qualified staff, Literacy Improvement, Raising Standards and School Development Plans. Under normal circumstances, a range of resource materials is provided, linked to the issues covered.
